Half-way Through our Time on St. Kitts

We have reached our halfway point in our time on St Kitts, and time is moving pretty fast. Having established a base routine makes our time here fly by. Here are a few things we have seen and done lately:

We did take a break from some of our normal activities to host our daughter Carine.  She came to stay for a week between travel nursing contracts, so we went into partial tourist mode while she was here.

Art projects and a beach morning with our friends from Ade’s House, hosting dinners with missionaries and other friends on the island, trips to various beaches for swimming, snorkeling and collecting sea glass.   Hair braiding, good food in local restaurants and gelato shops, a trip around the island to see some interesting sights and some exploration of downtown Basseterre. 

Our short week with Carine went by so quickly, and now we are back in the groove of our normal activities. Next up, well, more of St Kitts!
